Sarah F Gabrielson

Roxbury Township, Mrs. Sarah F Gabrielson, 51, died on December 5, 2023 at the Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Denville and grew up in Denville . She moved to Succasunna in 2009. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Montclair State University and became a Teacher & Learning Disabled Teaching Consultant for both the Mendham and Randolph School Systems. She was also a member of the NJEA and member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Succasunna. She then became an organ doner for the N J Sharing Network.

 Away from work Sarah was known for helping within the community volunteering with many PTO, church, activities with her children.  Sarah loved photography, going to the beach and most of all she was known to enjoy a good prank with friends and family members.  Her eager approach to all her passions was apparent to all around her.

She is survived by her husband Eric A Gabrielson of 19 years, and by her 2 sons; Jason Andrew Gabrielson and Bennett Birger Gabrielson. She also leaves her father Michael A Kiener of Denville, 2 brothers, mother and father in-law Katharine and Birger Gabrielson of Nautatuck, CT and 2 sister’s-in-law; Kathie Gabrielson of Nautatuck, CT and Jennifer and Michael Amodeo of Middlebury, CT. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and cousins for whom she was very fond.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Friday, December 8th, from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 11 am, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Succasunna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to StJude.org or to Heifer.org
