Mine Hill, NJ   Mr. Robert Simone Vasilian, 87, died on January 24, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in New York City and grew up in Boonton. He lived in Madison before moving to Mine Hill 59 years ago. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Mine Hill American Legion Post 391. He was a retired printer for ACE Lithographers in East Hanover and was a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna. Robert loved woodworking (especially clocks), was an avid golfer, and coached the American Legion Babe Ruth League in Mine Hill.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Ellen (Pfeiffer) Vasilian of 61 years, 3 children; Robert Vasilian of Albuquerque, NM, Elaine (and James) Archambault of Hopatcong, and Carol Martindell of Hopatcong. He also leaves his 5 grandchildren; Zachary Martindell, Sarah, Michelle, and Marie Archambault, and Lauren Vasilian.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, (January 27^th) 9 am, at St. Therese R C Church, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
