Hackettstown, NJ – Mr. Robert Dale Mitchell, 64, died on April 3, 2017 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Ledgewood and Budd Lake prior to moving to Hackettstown 10 years ago. He was a 1970 graduate of Roxbury High School at the Eisenhower School and was a Production Foreman at Transistor Devices, Inc. in Randolph and Hackettstown. He was an avid basketball enthusiast; both as a player and as a fan (especially of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s). Additionally, he was quite the movie buff; Bruce Lee and Clint Eastwood films were among his favorites. His personality was large and he touched all that he met with his zest for life and infectious smile.
He was the son of the late Ariel Juanita Mitchell (Marshall) and is survived by his wife Alyssa Storicks Mitchell, son Sean Lowell Mitchell (& wife Sandy), step-son Jayson Tyler (and Morgan) Storicks, father Robert Lowell Mitchell, 4 sisters; Elona Jean Brown, Ariel Wilma Mitchell, Enid Dorothy Mitchell and Riva Faye Soloway Mitchell, brother Michael Isaac Soloway Mitchell, 2 grandchildren; Alexis Mitchell, Kylee Mitchell, nephew Jason Rogers Brown, and 3 step-grandchildren; Karynne Faltraco, Gabrielle Karrer, and Scarlett Mae Storicks.
