Philip L Nader

Randolph, Mr. Philip L Nader, 89, died on February 8, 2020 at the Sunrise at Randolph. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Succasunna for most of his life before moving to Randolph 5 years ago. He was a graduate of the Manhattan H.S. of Aviation Trades, class of 1947 and then served in the U S Air Force during the Korean War. He later earned his BS from NJIT in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Johnson & Johnson in Warren for many years. He was also a member of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Succasunna. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts while living in Long Island. He coached baseball and was a life long Mets Fan. He played golf for many years in several leagues.

He is survived by his wife Elaine R Nader of 62 years, 3 children; Paul P Nader of Freehold, NJ, Carole E Nader of Mt. Arlington, and David P (and Tuyet-Mai Nguyen) Nader of Whitehouse Station, NJ. He also leaves his 4 grandchildren; Courtney, Briana, Dean, and Satine.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ.   (973) 584-7264, on Wednesday, February 12th, from 4 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 am.

In Lieu of flowers: Contributions may be made in his name to Veterans charities, American Lung charities, American Cancer charities, Or better yet Take your parents to dinner, spend time with your family.
