Roxbury Township, Mrs. Pauline Anne Brown, 86, died peacefully on April 23, surrounded by her family, at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. She was born in Brooklyn where she lived most of her life before moving to the Ledgewood area more than 10 years ago. They had 6 beautiful children 12, grandchildren, and one great grandchild. As a devout Catholic woman of strong faith she stood as a source of kindness and love to her family and all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard M Brown, of 28 years, in 1981 and by her daughter Theresa Brown Sponza. She is survived by her 5 children; Patricia A (Garry) Stegeland, Michael G (Jo-Anne) Brown, Maureen Reggi, Catherine (Richard) Johnson, Richard (Jeanne) Brown, Brother Edward “Willie” Horan and Sister Elizabeth Columbia, 12 grandchildren; Kristen Daveler, Lauren Stegeland, Katherine Scully, Margaret Brown, Timothy Brown, Meghan Reggi, Bryan Reggi, Bridget Reggi, Ryan Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Benjamin Brown, and a great grand son Patrick Scully.
A celebration of her full and beautiful life will be held at the St. Therese R C Church, 155 Main Street, Succasunna, on Tuesday at 10:30 am.
