Roxbury Township, Paula Nancy Lasso, 70, died on August 19, 2020 at the Morristown Medical Center after a long and brave battle with cancer. She was born in Summit and grew up in New Providence. She later lived in Mountain Lakes and Denville before moving to Succasunna 10 years ago.

Nothing made Paula happier or prouder than being a mother and grandmother. When she wasn’t spending time with her daughters and their families, she could usually be found crocheting or reading in the sunshine. She loved cooking, watching NCIS and Star Wars marathons, and playing puzzle games on her computer.

Her memory will be kept alive by those who loved her most: her children, Kathy DeGraw and husband Ray of Succasunna and Debbie Mikesh and husband Tim of Flanders; four grandchildren, William, Parker, Avery, and Maggie; her sister Carol, nieces Diane (Tom) and Donna, and grand-nephew Geronimo.

Friends may visit the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday, August 24th from 2 – 4 pm (on a rotating basis).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paula’s memory to Knots of Love (https://www.knotsoflove.org), a charity which provides crocheted and knitted caps for chemotherapy patients, as well as blankets for NICU babies; or a meaningful charity of your choice.
