Randolph Twp., Owen Francis Smith, 6, died on December 10, 2012 at his home. He was born in Morristown and lived all of his life in Randolph. He was a first grader at St. Therese R C School in Succasunna and member of St. Therese R C Church. He was a privileged honorary member of the Roxbury Township Police and Fire Departments. His passion was building with lego’s and making robots. 

 He is survived by his parents Liz (Vogel) and Sean Smith and sister Nora Smith of Randolph. He also leaves his paternal grandparents Carol and Michael Smith of Middletown, NY, maternal grandparents Gerry and Maryl Vogel of Ulster Park, NY, uncles; Tim (and Sharon) Smith of Belford and John (and Lori) Vogel of Charlton, NY and many cousins.

 Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Wednesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna. Confessions will be heard at the church one hour prior to the mass.
