Roxbury Township, Miss Margaret M Quinn, 86, died on September 6, 2012 at the Bryan Manor Home in Chester. She was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Union from 1950-1998, before moving to Ledgewood 14 years ago. She was a Legal Secretary at the firm of Mc Carter & English in Newark and later worked for Judge Merrit Lane, Jr. for many years, and then for Judge Brody. She also worked for the Superior Court and Appellate Court in Union County for 25 years before retiring in 1997. She enjoyed cooking and a collection of more than 100 cookbooks, and became an accomplished cook, often cooking for her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Aloysius and Catherine Quinn and by her sister Dorothy Schmidt. She is survived by her sister Katherine Quinn of Ledgewood, niece Barbara (sand Bill )Byles of Succasunna, nephew Michael (and Melody ) Schmidt of Ohio, and by her 3 grandnephews; Bryan, Brendan, and Brett Byles.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 11:30 am at the Funeral Home. The burial will take place at a later date at St. Theresa’s Cemetery in Summit.
