Kathryn Joan Fabiano

Kathryn Joan Fabiano, 85, of Ledgewood, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Born on November 21, 1935 in Hainesville, NJ, Kathryn was the daughter of the late E. Clifford and Alice Ruth (Bell) MaGill. Her beloved husband of 51 years Thomas Daniel Fabiano predeceased Kathryn in 2009. As did her brother, Ernest R. MaGill, in 2017.

Kathryn had lived in Nutley and Little Falls, NJ before moving to the Brookfield section of White Township 22 years ago, and more recently lived in Ledgewood.

After graduating from Newton High School, she attended nursing school at Clara Maass Medical Center, earning her LPN. After receiving her degree, Kathryn married and, together with Tommy, started a family. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker, raising four children. Kathryn was also a devout Christian and belonged to the choir at the United Methodist Church of Little Falls for 20 years. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Club and also volunteered for many church functions. She was a tireless homemaker and gardener, with a never-ending list of projects in and around the home. Kathryn also loved vigorous early morning walks with friends. Her grace, steadfast readiness to help a family member or friend in need, and genuinely amiable nature made Kathryn profoundly loved by those that she came in contact with.

With deep passion for her family, Kathryn liked nothing more than being surrounded by her family and friends. She had spent many happy times at the family’s backyard pool in Little Falls, at the Jersey shore, and on Marco Island, FL.

Surviving are her four children, Michael and his wife Virginia (children: Katelyn, Jennifer and Thomas), Lori Fabiano, Kim Fabiano (children: Katy (spouse: Alex), Jessica, Kellie-Megan (spouse: Derek), Kyle and Kristofer (spouse: Sarah)), and Stacy Migneault and her husband Peter (children: Alexandra and Jordan); and five great- grandchildren, Eric, Harper, Nolan, Faith and Cameron.
