John W. Murphy, 59, of Mine Hill, NJ passed away on April 30, 2022 at Morristown Hospital. John was in born in Morristown, NJ on August 12, 1962. He was predeceased by his loving parents, John & Nuala Murphy who passed in 2022 and 2010, respectively. John’s calling card was laughter.  He brought smiles and laughter to all he met and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

John loved fishing, the Giants, hanging with his friends and riding his motorcycle.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Dover.  He worked for many years as a New York City carpenter with Locals 608 and 157.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne and daughter Nicole.  He is also survived by his siblings Maureen Murphy Quinn (Tom), Una Cassidy (Sean), Anne Israel (Bob), Terence and Brian (Kelly), in-laws Mary Flynn (Tom), Jeannie Cronister, Thomas Bolan (Joanna) and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral liturgy Mass will be held at St. Therese R.C. Church, Main Street, Succasunna on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  The wake will be at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna on Wednesday, May 4th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
