Roxbury Township,  Mr. John A Preziosi, Sr, 89, died on September 18, 2011 at home. He was born in Atripalda, Italy and at the age of 7 he came to the United States to Dover where he grew up and lived before moving to Kenvil 61 years ago. For many years he was a Postal Worker in the Dover Post Office before retiring in 1977. He served in the U S Navy during WW II and was a member of the Kenvil and Rockaway V F W Post(s). He was also an avid gardener.

He is survived by his wife Virginia (Horn) of 62 years,  his 3 children; Sue (and Frank) Kaenrath of Long Valley, John Jr. (and Pat) Preziosi of Myrtle Beach, S C, and James (and Amy) Preziosi of Blakesley, PA, sister Sr. Carmelina Preziosi, MPF of Villa Walsh in Morristown,  6 grandchildren; Bryan, Capria, James, Tara, Shawn, and Joseph, and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
