Roxbury Township, Mr. Jeffery E Poissant, 58, died on September 17th, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Denville and lived in Succasunna for 47 years. He was the owner of Succasunna Service Center and East Coast Towing. He was also a past Chief and Exempt Member of the Roxbury Fire Company #1. During his career, he was a 9/11 Responder and was featured inside Time Magazine. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and was a huge 49er’s football fan. He loved to fish anywhere, but his “Happy Place” was Lake Newboro, Canada. It did not matter who you were, he was the person you could always go to for help and guidance.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine A Poissant of 28 years, and by his 3 children; Jeffery Poissant, Zachary Poissant, and Elizabeth Poissant. He also leaves his sisters; Dawn Schaefer, and Tina Poissant, brother, Alan (and Monica) Poissant, and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, NJ on Wednesday, September 21st, at 10am, followed by the interment at the Flanders Hillside Cemetery. A reception lunch will follow at the Roxbury Fire Co #1 Firehouse on Main Street, at noon.
