Boonton Township, Mrs. Janet Frances Amatrudi, 91, died on December 7, 2018 at the Boonton Care Center. She was born in Jersey City and grew up in Cranford. She later lived in Bloomfield for 50 years before moving to Succasunna and Boonton. She was a Legal Secretary for the Standard Oil Company in New York City, and was a member of the Sacred Heart R C Church in Bloomfield.She was a graduate of Montclair State Teacher’s College.

She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Amatrudi in1997, and is survived by her 4 children; Cathy (and Peter) Cokelet, Patrice Amatrudi, Mary (and Vincent) D’Elia, and Ralph Amatrudi, 6 grandchildren; Daniel, Julia, Brian, Christopher, Steven, and Michael, and by her great grandchildren; Aiden and Logan.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ  973-584-7264  (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday, from 2 – 5  pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church, Succasunna, followed by the entombment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
