Jane Elizabeth Norris, age: 71 • Concord NC

Jane Norris, of Concord NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2016. She was 71. Jane was born in Dover NJ and lived most of her life in Succasunna.  She was a mother, wife, nurse, author of a children’s book and loved to paint.  She was most proud of returning to school for her RN.  She spent many years working at Morristown Memorial and loved her time on the maternity floor.  She would light up when she talked about her babies.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years James Sr., her children, Colleen (Sheri), James (Tammie), Edward (Stacey), Sean (Louis) and Laurie (Ruben) the grandchildren who were the inspiration for her books; Samantha, Nicholas, Kaitlin, Julia, Megan and Kevin and her great grand-daughter Isabella, sisters; Ronnie (Steven) Honickman and Judith (Carmine) Rossi. She was predeceased by her parents, Leroy and Cecelia Meeker.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Tuesday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 11 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
