Mt. Arlington, On April 16, 2011 Jacqueline Anne “Jacquie” Greenwood, 55, of Mt. Arlington slipped away peacefully after a long illness. She was born and raised in Paterson, NJ, and later lived in Sparta and Wantage before moving to Mt. Arlington 30 years ago. She worked as a technical writer at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township for more than 10 years. Jacquie was a very special lady whose passions and originality left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a witty, clever writer whose words brought joy to everyone she touched in her short life. She loved nature and everything it had to offer, especially days at the park watching the wildlife and feeding the squirrels. She also enjoyed spending family time at The Pine Tree House, her family’s home in Poultney, Vt. Throughout her life, her constant companions were her loving partner, Tony, and her many cats who she loved deeply. She also enjoyed her collections of vintage fashion, jewelry, cookie jars and mannequins, and was always happy to share her knowledge with other collectors.
She leaves behind her loving partner of 36 years, Anthony “Tony” Imbimbo with whom she lived in Mt. Arlington, her devoted mother Marion Greenwood and sister Janet Greenwood, of Poultney, VT, sister Maureen (and Peter) Bonasia of Scotch Plains, NJ, niece Marissa Franklin of Wind Gap, PA, two nephews Adam Markson of Wanaque and Matthew Bonasia of Scotch Plains, NJ, great nephew Brian Franklin and great niece Lorraine Franklin both of Wind Gap, PA. Also left to mourn are Tony’s brother Ralph Imbimbo and family of Boca Raton, FL, and Tony’s sister Agnes Mauro and family of Las Vegas, NV.
