Roxbury Township, Mr. Gerald “Jerry” E Stark, Sr., 81, died on May 22, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. He was born in Dover and grew up in Roxbury Township. He later lived in Mt. Olive Township and eventually moved back to Roxbury Township to purchase his childhood home. He attended Roxbury High School and was Supervisor for the Morris County Bridge Department, retiring after 25 years. At that time, he was also the Superintendent for the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery. He was an avid all-around sportsman, loved boating, and gardening in his 50x50ft vegetable garden.

 He was predeceased by his son Thomas “Tommy” Stark in 1988 and by his sister Joan Cullen in 2021. He is survived by his wife Diana C (Bongiorno) Stark of 60 years, and by his son Jerry Stark, Jr. and daughter Cheryl (and Keith) Roslan. He also leaves his 3 grandchildren; Steven Raupp, Skylar Roslan, and Keira Roslan, brother Robert (and Kathy) Stark, brother-in-law Bill Cullen, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna,973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 4-8 pm. The Funeral Servicewill be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 10 am, followed by the interment at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
