Denville, NJ.    Mrs. Faith H Moroney, 90, died on November 29, 2023 at The Oaks at Denville. She was born and raised in Newport, NY. She then moved to Wharton, Dover, and Budd Lake for many years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Potsdam College in Potsdam, NY, where she met the love of her life John “Jack” J Moroney. She was a retired teacher from Mt. Olive Twp. Schools, and a member of the NJEA.

She was predeceased by her husband John J Moroney in 2009, and is survived by her daughters; Janet Jackson Smith and her husband William Smith, and Ellen Faith Poli (and her fiancé David Swift). She also leaves her 5 grandchildren; Kate (and Mike) Beardsley, Amy (and Mike) Everingham, Robert (and Amanda) Poli, John Moroney Poli, and Lindsay Jackson (and her fiancé Louis Cadet), and her 7 great grandchildren; Cadence, Evan, Zachary, Leo, Adria, Julia, and Samantha.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Saturday (December 2^nd) from 4 – 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 6 pm, at the Funeral Home.
