Mrs. Evelyn F. Hopper, of Succasunna, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

She was born in Garfield, NJ on December 6, 1930. She was 93 years old. She lived at her home in Succasunna, NJ for more than 60 years until her death, and where she raised her 3 children with her late husband, David.

She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, David, her parents, Michael and Maria Figel, and 3 siblings, Mary, Anne, and Michael. Evelyn is survived by her sons Chuck (and Catherine), Tom (and Natalie), and Michael (and Helene), 7 grandchildren, Nadia, Ryan, Gregory, Katrina, Alec, Marc, and Matthew, and 1 great-granddaughter, Stella. Evelyn is also survived by her siblings, Veronica and George, many nieces and nephews as well as her dear friend JoAnne Slinger.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Saturday, January 20th, from 8:30 – 9:30 am. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Therese R. C. Church in Succasunna at 10 am, followed by the interment at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
