Roxbury Township, Mrs. Doris Monahan, 90, died on November 19, 2012 at her home. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Succasunna and Dover before moving to Landing 27 years ago. She was a salesperson at Lord & Taylor in the Rockaway Mall for many years.

She was predeceased by her 1^st husband Erling Jacobsen in 1990, her 2^nd husband Richard Monahan in 2005, and by her Great Grandson Ryan Todd Webb in 2011. She is survived by her children; Robert E Jacobsen of Landing and Linda (and Ray) Kuehn of Sparta. She also leaves her brothers; George Ris and John Ris (both) of Long Island, NY and sister Joyce Boyer of Basking Ridge, 5 grandchildren; Christine, Jennifer, Alichia, Shawn, and Stefanie, and great grandson Blaine.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Tuesday from 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 am, at the Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery.
