Roxbury Township, Donald A. Villiger, 72, died on September 1, 2014 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Plainfield and grew up in North Plainfield before moving to Roxbury Township 41 years ago. In 1964 he earned his BS Degree in accounting from Waynesburg University and began working at Allied Chemical Company (now Honeywell International) in Morristown, retiring in 2007 after more than 37 years of service. He was an avid gardener, stamp collector and enjoyed traveling to Wildwood Crest and Walt Disney World with his family.
He is survived by his wife Marie (Ellis) of 45 years, three daughters; Nancy Less and her husband Philip, Karen Villiger and her partner Bryan Toczek and Lori Czarnecki and her husband Stephen. He also leaves his grandson Thomas Czarnecki, two sisters; Joyce Jensen and Carole Villiger, his nieces and nephew and his Irish Setter “Lucky”.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 5-8 pm, and on Friday morning from 9-10 am, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
