Whiting, NJ: Mrs. Diane O’Connell, 76, passed away on January 26, 2020 at the Toms River Community Hospital. She was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and lived in Succasunna from 1976-2008. She then moved to Davenport, FL before moving to Whiting, NJ 2 years ago. For many years she was the owner of Collectors Corner in Rockaway, NJ. She loved her family, shopping, camping, RV’ing and traveling.

She is survived by her husband John J O’Connell of 59 years, and by her 5 children; Mary (and Ira) Adelman of Budd Lake, Betty Jo Armstrong of Fuquay Varina, NC, Joseph (and Sabrina) O’Connell of Painted Post, NY, Carolyn (and Stephan) Holmes of Succasunna, and Craig (and Sheila) O’Connell of Harrison, NJ. She also leaves her 7 grandchildren; Ryan Armstrong, Kristin Armstrong, Robert Crean, Nicole O’Connell, Caitlin Ream, Aria O’Connell, and Bradley O’Connell. A great grandson Rory Christian, and sister Patricia (and Thomas) McGlynn.
