Mrs. Deborah Flynn, 93, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2023 at the Merry Heart Assisted Living Center in Succasunna, where she received unfailingly kind and expert care.

Debbie was born Deborah McGovern in Elizabeth, NJ on November 19, 1929, the youngest of nine siblings. She lived in NJ most of her life, marrying her beloved husband Bob in 1950, and raising two daughters in Clark. Idyllic summers were spent down the shore at the beach or boating on Barnegat Bay.

Bob and Debbie retired to Onancock VA in 1985, spending twenty five wonderful years enjoying their new home with friends and family.  After Bob’s passing, Debbie came back to the northeast where she spent her remaining years a loving and much loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Debbie was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Flynn and her siblings. She is survived by her daughters Susan Flynn Hunt (William) and Sharon Flynn Kopmann (Richard); her four grandchildren Liz, Kate, Bill and Jack; and her six great grandchildren John, Clara, Alaina, Conor, Penelope and Quinn.

A private memorial will be held by family in the summer of 2023,
