Roxbury Township, Mrs. Carolyn Rynn, 76, died on April 10, 2023 in her home. She fought a 5 year long, brave battle against cancer, which she contracted from working on the cleanup efforts after 9/11.  She was born in Flushing Hospital Queens, NY and lived in Bellmore, Long Island (NY).  She spent the majority of her childhood in Jackson Heights, NY before moving to Succasunna 50 years ago. She was a retired paralegal for Stier, Anderson, and Malone Law Firm in Princeton, NJ. She was a member of the Environmental Commission for ten years in its infancy and was very proud of the contributions she made. She also devoted herself to her children, acting as anything from brownie troupe leader to “horse mom.”

She was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Johnson, and mother of Jennifer Connolly of Whippany, and Gerard Rynn of St. Louis, sister of Rosemary Johnson of Maine, and Robert Johnson of Michigan , and grandmother of Logan Faith Connolly, also of Whippany.  

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4th from 2 – 4 pm at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). The Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm.
