Roxbury Township, Mrs. Alma G Benward, 78, died on August 28, 2023 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. She was born and raised in Sparta Township before moving to Succasunna 31 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles & scratch offs.  She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Edward J Benward of 61 years, her daughterCarol Ann Watson of Tobyhanna PA.; three grandchildren; Michael Benward & his wife Michelle Benward in Tobyhanna PA, KaSondra Robinson of Bath, PA and Donovan Bourne of Tobyhanna, PA, her sisters Pearl Barrise, Marie Kennedy, Roberta Wagner, and her brothers Edward Johnson, Robert Johnson, and  William Johnson.
