Mt. Olive Township, Mr. William J Feilon, 52, passed away on the evening of Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He was born and raised in Newton but resided in Flanders for many years. William was a master craftsman and builder who specialized in all aspects of the trade including carpentry, electrical and plumbing. He was the Owner and Operator of Cornerstone Restorations for 30 years. William was artistic and creative in the design of many projects and has left his mark on many of Flanders historic homes. He also worked for many years as an installer for Colonial TV Appliance in Flanders. He enjoyed the outdoors – whether it was gardening, fishing, hunting, or vacationing at Island Beach State Park.
His greatest pleasure came from the time he spent with his 3 sons, whom he was very proud. William is survived by his beloved sons; Kyle Robert Feilon, Wyatt John Feilon, and Conor Michael Feilon and his former wife Pamela. He is also survived by 2 sister’s, Katherine Schouppe of Milford, PA, Susan Zeigler and her husband George, and brother Michael Feilon and his wife Alice, all of Mansfield, Ohio.
