Whippany, NJ Mr. William J Hart, 72, died on October 24, 2014 at the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was born in Dover and grew up in Landing. He was a 1961 graduate of Roxbury High School who then served in the U S Army, stationed in Germany. He later lived in Reeders, PA before moving to Whippany 12 years ago. He was a retired tool & die maker for Instrument Specialties – Laird at the Delaware Water Gap in PA. He also worked at the WalMart in Cedar Knolls during his retirement years. He was a member of the NRA, an avid hunter and loved walking and bowling.
He is survived by his dear friend Pauline Santella Reidda with whom he lived, three children; Kip (and Ruthann) Hart of Stroudsburg, PA, Ken Hart of Mt. Pocono, PA, and Karole (and Tony) Morehead of Kansas City, MO. He also leaves his brother Kenneth Hart of FL, sisters; Donna Post of Milford, PA and Sandy Hart of Wharton, and eight grandchildren; Kenny and William Hart, Chloe, Jakob, Abby, and Joshua Morehead, Hope Hachemeister , Zach Sasz, and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Ferguson Hart, and his adored grandson Thomas Hart.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday, November 6th, from 12 noon to 1 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery.
