Mine Hill Township,   Mrs. Veronica C Rhenn, died on January 6, 2012 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was born in Kearny and lived in Clifton before moving to Mine Hill 54 years ago. She was the office manager for her daughter, Bernadette Panetta, CPA in Kenvil for many years and previously worked at her husband’s firm of Leo W Rhenn, Public Accountant, in Kenvil. She was also a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She could often be found walking the shoreline of Long Beach Island or watching the boats from Barnegat Lighthouse.

She is survived by her husband Leo W Rhenn of 59 years, her 3 children; Theresa Scavuzzo of Manahawkin, Bernadette (and Michael) Panetta of Allamuchy Twp., and Maureen (and James) Elliott of Orlando, FL, 5 grandchildren; David Panetta, Christiana Scavuzzo, Shannon (and Eric) Nagele, Kasey Panetta, and Alex Scavuzzo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264)  davishepplewhitefh.com on Sunday from 3 – 6 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10am, at St. Therese R C Church, Succasunna, with the interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
