Ruth Ann Flint

Newton, NJ.Mrs. Ruth Ann Miller Flint, 70, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Center in Fredon Township. She was born in Morristown, grew up and lived most of her life in Roxbury Township before moving to Dingmans Ferry, PA for a short while, and on to Newton last year.She was a retired paraprofessional, fluent in American Sign Language, at the Lake Drive School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Mountain Lakes. Ruth was also a member of the Succasunna United Methodist Church and loved puzzles, coffee and biscotti, sewing and her beloved beagle, Bailey.

 Ruth was predeceased by her husband Richard R Flint in 2021, and by her sister Leslie Shukalo. She is survived by her sons Jason R Flint (partner Christy Critelli) of Bayonne and Adam R Flint (fiancé Jen Demarest) of Newton; her beloved grandchildren Emily, Chris, Jordan, Lucas, and Wyatt; her brother Michael (and Janet) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday, February 20th, from 6 – 9 pm. A private interment will be held at the Succasunna United Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice or to the New Jersey Association of the Deaf.
