Lake Rogerene, NJ. Mr. Roger C Rousch, Sr, 91, died on October 6, 2022 at the New Jersey Fireman’s Home in Boonton. He was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Lake Rogerene over 69 years ago. He served in the U S Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and became a member of the American Legion Post #278. He was a Milk Man for many years and later worked for Pond Fire Hose in Kenvil, NJ, also a member and Usher at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, a fireman for more than 70 years, serving as a Past Chief and Exempt Member of the Mt. Arlington Fire Company.
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann Rousch, in 2018. He is survived by his son Roger C (and Ginny) Rousch, Jr of Byram Twp., grandson Andrew (and Anna) Rousch of Stanhope, and granddaughter Kayla Everment of Byram Twp. He also leaves his sister Pat Curtin of Lake Rogerene, and sister-in-law Eleanor Ackerman

The Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, NJ Tuesday, October 11th, at 10am. The interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, followed by a repass at the American Legion Hall in Stanhope. Donations may be made in his name to the Mt.
