Robert Boyle

 

 

Roxbury Township, Mr. Robert Boyle, 53, died on September 8, 2021 at the Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his family. He courageously endured numerous health challenges over the course of his life.

Robert was born in Dover General Hospital and lived in Succasunna, NJ his entire life. A graduate of Roxbury High School, he earned his BS degree from East Stroudsburg University in PA. He was a graduate of St. Therese School. Robert worked as an office manager and administrative assistant at Century 21 Realty in Rockaway for many years. Bob was a devoted son and brother who selflessly cared for his mother. He (Uncle Bob) was very generous with his time and attention with his nephews and nieces, then with his great nephews and nieces. Bob was thoughtful friend to many people. He enjoyed going to concerts and the movie theater and spending time with his family. Bob found joy while decorating for the holidays, Halloween and Christmas were his favorites. As well as entertaining guests with delicious food, he prepared. He loved keeping the pantry filled and the home comfortable. During his time caring for his parents, Bob kept busy and created a niche business in building and selling model kits and other specialty items. Bob had an outstanding memory, many times surprising us with details that had been forgotten.

 He was predeceased by his beloved mother Margaret Boyle in 2019 and by his brother Edward M. Boyle in 2011. He is survived by his father James A. Boyle and by his 5 remaining brothers and sisters; James A (and Loretta) Boyle of Allamuchy, Joseph (and Margaret) Boyle of Marquette, MI, Peggy (and Michael) Davo of Morristown, Maria (and Peter) Dankens of Andover, MA, and Christopher (and Karen) Boyle of Flanders. He also leaves his 14 nephews and nieces; Jackie, Tricia, James, Dan, Johanna, Sue, Olivette, Theo, Charlie, Catherine, Claire, Chris Shane & Scott, and 9 great nephews and nieces; Trevor, Ryan, Hadley, Gwen, Gabe, Kate, Evie, Jim & Nate. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

.Friends and relatives may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home,96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday (September 10th) from 4 – 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna. The interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
