Rockaway Twp.,   Rev. Ralph W Herold, 78, died on July 12, 2011 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. He was born in Garfield and lived in Parsippany for 44 years before moving to Rockaway 8 years ago. He served in the U S Army as a First Lieutenant from 1953-1955. He earned his degree’s from John’s Hopkins University, University of Munich, Montclair State, and his Doctorate in Education from Rutgers. He was a teacher and administrator at Garfield HS, Parsippany, HS, Milburn, MT. Arlington, Wharton, and North Arlington. He later worked at Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, and Prudential Bache as a Financial Advisor. At the age of 24 he became a Minister and later a Priest in the New Apostolic Church in Parsippany.

Rev. Herold is survived by his wife Jacquelyn Ann of 53 years, his son John A Herold of Randolph, daughter Jill (and her husband Peter) Ricci of West Orange, and 4 grandchildren Jessica and Justin Herold, Jennifer Takacs, and Dante Ricci.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2-4  & 6-7 PM at the New Apostolic Church, 819 Edwards Road, Parsippany. The Funeral Service will be held at 8 pm at the Church.
