Roxbury Township, Mrs. Phyllis J Gress, 74, died on July 25, 2012 at her home. She was born in McConnells Mills, PA and lived in Cannonsburg, PA before moving to Roxbury Township 39 years ago. She was a retired clerical worker for the Prudential Insurance Company in Mt. Arlington and later became a school bus aide for the Byram School Bus Company. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church in Flanders and loved playing bingo, taking trips to Atlantic City, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard Gress in 2004, and is survived by her 4 children; Joseph P Gress of Flanders, Renee (and John) Crepeau of Newton, Richard P (and Darlene) Gress of Newmarket, NH, and Lisa (and John) Meyer of Belvidere. She also leaves her 7 grandchildren; Timothy, Patrick, Keira, Richard, Miranda, Kristine, and Lyndal, and sister Joyce Spiker of Houston, PA.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com on Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 10 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church in Flanders, with the interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
