Roxbury twp. Mr. Matthew John Harmsen Menendez, 22, died on January 10^th, 2017 in Boynton Beach, FL. He was born in Livingston at the St. Barnabas Hospital, and lived in Succasunna all of his life. He was a member of St. Therese R C Church and went to St. Therese School and Roxbury High School.

He was an aspiring song writer and rapper, and loved dirt bike riding, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed ice hockey, and skating.

He is survived by his parents Judy and David Menendez of Succasunna, Brother David (and Chelsea LaValle) Menendez at home, nephew Carter Menendez, Niece Ayva Menendez, several Aunts and Uncles, as well as many Cousins.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Friday from 3-5  &  7-9 pm. The Memorial Service will be held at 8 pm at the Funeral Home. The interment will follow at the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in East Hanover at a later date.
