Mary Ann Loretta Howard, 81, died on March 23, 2023 at Care One in Parsippany. She was born in Jersey City to Vincent and Frances (Schwind) Ryan.

She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Food & Drug Administration in Parsippany. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, relaxing at the beach, and dancing! 

She married Bede F. Howard, Jr on November 21, 1970. She lived many wonderful years in East Hanover and Florham Park, NJ.  She spent her last few years in Lake Hopatcong until she moved to Care One Nursing Home.

She is survived by her 3 children: Shannon Caccavella (and her husband Chris) of Ledgewood, Bede F. Howard, III of Lake Hopatcong, and Ryan Howard (and Deanna DePetris) of Myrtle Beach. She also leaves her 3 grandchildren: Christopher, Caitlin, and Peyton Ann.

 A Memorial Visitation and Celebration of Life,  will be held on Tuesday, May 30th from 4 – 8 pm at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, May 31st, 10 am at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, followed by the burial at the Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
