Mt. Olive Township, Mr. Lewis George Stroehlein, 89, died on January 1, 2017 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born in Caldwell and grew up in Montville. He was a 1945 graduate of Roxbury High School and lived in Flanders for 60 years. He was a draftsman for Bell Laboratories in Whippany for many years.

He was predeceased by his wife Florence Stroehlein in 2001, and is survived by his 2 children; Dennis Charles Stroehlein of Bennington, VT and Rose Marie Stroehlein of Hackettstown, 2 grandchildren; Erik and Shannon, and a great grandson Soren.
