Roxbury Township, Mr. Larry William Worobec, 91, died on September 29, 2023 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was born in Newark and grew up in Irvington before moving to Succasunna 64 years ago. He served in the U S Army from 1956 -1958 where he met his wife Patricia, which he stole from Toledo, Ohio, as she would always say. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to everyone. He will be truly missed. He will be most remembered for his incredible memory and attention to dates/detail, his ability to ‘clean a plate’ at a diner, and his fondness for travel, especially cruises.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Worobec of 65 years, and by his 3 children; Wendy Strack, Lori Shmanske and Scott Worobec. He also leaves his 5 grandchildren; Alyssa Muscio, Chloe Shmanske, Adam Shmanske, David Strack, and Steven Strack, and great grandchild Diana Strack.
