Roxbury Township, Mr. Joseph P Gress, 62, died on October 19, 2023 at the Morristown Hospital Hospice Center. He was born in Washington, PA and grew up in Roxbury Township where he lived for 49 years. He earned his Degree from the college of New Jersey. Joe worked as a key employee and owner at MD On-Line from 1996 through it being acquired in 2014 by the Ability Network and now Inovalon. He was with the company as the Director of EDI operations till his passing.
He was an avid Jets Fan and as a young man he played football and baseball. He enjoyed spending time with friends as a member of the Netcong sports club.
He was also a member and an usher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church in Flanders.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Phyllis Gress and is survived by his brother and sisters; Renee (John) Crepeau, Lisa Gress, and Richard Gress. His nieces and nephews; Timothy Meyer, Patrick Meyer, Keira DuHaime, Richard Gress, Miranda Gress, Kristine Crepeau, Lyndal Gress; great nephews Nolan DuHaime, Archie DuHaime and Joseph Gress.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday, October 22nd from 2 – 6 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 11 am, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R C Church, in Flanders. The burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in Chester.
