Roxbury Township, Mr. Henry Walter Stevens, 88, died on November 21, 2019 at his home in Succasunna. He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and later moved from Bedford Hills, NY to Succasunna in 1996 where he was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Roxbury Seniors.

He served in the US ARMY during the Korean War and later served in the Army Reserves for 33 years. He also continued as a volunteer at the West Point Keller Hospital. He was both an LPN in the Army and a microwave technician for the N Y Telephone Company where he worked for 42 years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

 He is survived by his wife Marion Stevens of 67 years, his daughter Nancy (and Nick) DeGrazia, son Mark (and Cindy) Stevens, grandchildren; David (and Summi) Wagoner, Jason Wagoner, Kristen (and Ian) Lindsay, Andrew Stevens, Karl Stevens, Michael DeGrazia, and Christopher DeGrazia, and by his 5 great grandchildren; Henri, Logan, Ethan, Connor, and Emma.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 973-584-7264     (davishepplewhitefh.com), on Monday (November 25th), from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 pm. The interment with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, 11 am, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Kisco, NY.
