Roxbury Township, Mr. Harry Waldron, 82, died on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at home. He was born in Mt. Arlington, NJ to the late Chester and Sarah (Mickens) Waldron and moved to Succasunna in 1940. Harry worked for the Holland Manufacturing Co. on Main Street, as a maintenance supervisor, for more than 50 years before retiring. He was a 1947 graduate of Roxbury High School, a Roxbury Auxiliary Police Officer in Succasunna for more than 25 years, and also worked for Roxbury Auto Wreckers for many years on weekends.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother William. He is survived by his wife Judith “Judy” of 53 years, 4 children; Valerie Baylor, Gwendolyn “Wendy” (and Raymond) Oakes, John (and Stacey) Waldron, and Kristy Waldron, and 5 grandchildren; David & Jessica Baylor, and Sarah, Robbie, and Jenna Waldron.
The graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, at 11 am at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester by Rev. Joe Monahan of the Succasunna Methodist Church. A family reception will follow at the Succasunna Methodist Church fellowship hall, 91 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ.
