Roxbury Township, Mr. Frank Cornelious Litts, Sr, 84, died on April 11, 2013 at the Morristown Medical Center. He was born and raised in Madison and lived in Dover for 35 years before moving to Succasunna 16 years ago. He served in the U S Army following WW II and became a grounds keeper for the Morris County Parks Commission at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum. He was also a member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna and enjoyed flower gardening.
He is survived by his wife Hildegard (Betz) of 64 years, 3 children; Dorothy (and David) Facciponte of NV, Frank Jr (and Elyce) Litts of Dover, and Kevin (and Betsy Lowry) Litts of Wayne. He also leaves his brother Robert Litts of Honesdale, PA, granddaughter Brielle (and Vincent) Roldan of Brooklyn, and great-grandson Vincent Sebastian Roldan.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, with the entombment to follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover.
