Roxbury Township, Mrs. Eleanor A Reed, 95, died on November 14, 2013 at the Mt. Arlington Senior Living Center. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in Denville for 30 years, and Toms River for 20 years, before moving to Ledgewood 2 years ago. She was the Township Registrar in Denville for many years, an accomplished artist in both oil and water color and, was an award winning bridge player.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph R Reed in 2001 and by her son Michael R Reed in 1996. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Penelope Reed of Billings, Montana and April A (and Brian) Dixon of Ledgewood, 7 grandchildren; Denielle Jordan, Gabriel (and Michelle) Jordan, Brendan (and Heather) Hunscher, James (and Sloane) Dixon, Timothy (and Annie) Dixon, Jason Dixon, and Samuel Dixon, and 4 great grandchildren; Madison, Savannah, Gavin, and Kieran.

Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). Her graveside service will be held at the General Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ at a later date.
