Edward M Boyle

Roxbury Twp.,  Mr. Edward Michael Boyle, 54, died suddenly, surrounded by his loving family, on August 18, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Philadelphia and grew up and lived in Succasunna, before moving to Andover and then Wharton 13 years ago.  He was a 1975 graduate of Roxbury High School and graduated From County College of Morris in 1977.  He was a Master Mechanic at Royal Cadillac in Florham Park for 18 years and then a Production Engineer for MECA  in Denville for 19 years.  He was a volunteer member of the Roxbury Fire Company #1.  He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and loved camping, trap shooting, gardening, being outdoors, and all animals.  He was well loved by all who knew him for his selflessness and generosity.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Laura Boyle of Hillsborough, son Dan of Hillsborough, parents Jim and Peggy Boyle of Succasunna, 4 brothers and 2 sisters; James (and Loretta) Boyle of Chester, Joe (and Margaret) Boyle of Marquette MI, Peggy (and Michael) Davo of Morristown, Marie (and Peter) Dankens of Andover, MA, Chris (and Karen) Boyle of Flanders and Robert Boyle of Succasunna, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street Succasunna (973-584-7264) davishepplewhitefh.com, on Sunday from 3 – 9 pm.  The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, 10:00 am at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
