Roxbury Township,  Mr. Edward Joseph Swanick, 67, died on March 25, 2013 at Care One in Morristown. He was born in Perth Amboy and lived most of his life in Landing. He served in the U S Air Force from 1966-1970 and later earned his degree in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, from the County College of Morris in 1983. He worked for the Singer-Kearfott Guidance & Navigation Company in West Paterson before working at the Picatinny Arsenal Fuze Division in Rockaway Township as an Engineering Technician.

He is survived by his wife Alice (Wickrowski) Swanick of 46 years, son Brian (and Lisa) Swanick of Wharton, grandson Andrew Swanick, mother Stella Swanick and sister Bernadine Fold, both of Florida.

Arrangements are by the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com). A memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
