Roxbury Township, Mrs. Doris Marta Russo, nee Ruiz Monge, 78, of Succasunna NJ, died on Sunday May 10, 2015 at the Morristown Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in San Jose, Costa Rica to Roberto and Anita Ruiz. She was a homemaker and member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna. She studied at Colegio Maria Auxiliadora in San Jose, Costa Rica, and at St. Elizabeth Academy in Saint Louis, MO. She lived in San Jose, Costa Rica, Saint Louis, Missouri, Wertheim, Germany, and Brooklyn, NY, before moving to Succasunna 36 years ago. She had been a volunteer for the Girl Scouts in Brooklyn, NY, and a member of the Women’s Club of Succasunna. She also loved to travel, and visited 48 USA States and many foreign countries of Central and South America, Europe, and North Africa. 

 Mrs. Doris Russo was the beloved wife and great love of Paul Russo, of 54 years, and beloved mother of Roberto Francisco Montalvan (and wife Elena) of Costa Rica, Joseph Russo and his fiancé Debbie, and  Roxana Russo Caivano (and husband Anthony), and beloved grandmother of Priscilla Montalvan, Anthony Caivano Jr., Michael Caivano, Estefano Montalvan and Roberto Montalvan. She also leaves her sister Soledad Ruiz and brother Omar Ruiz of Costa Rica. She was predeceased by her brothers Oscar Ruiz and Jose Rafael Ruiz.

 Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday at 10 am at St. Therese R C Church, Main St, Succasunna, NJ, with the interment to follow at the Flanders Hillside Cemetery, in Succasunna NJ.
