Roxbury Township, Mrs. Donna Jean Root, 79, died on April 7, 2022 at the Morristown Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Dover and lived in Succasunna most all of her life. She was a graduate of Roxbury High School and became a word processor for the Knoll Pharmaceutical Company in Parsippany. Sheenjoyed playing the piano, drawing, reading, and volunteering at the voting polls.

 She is survived by her sons; Mark Root of Succasunna, Christopher Steven Root of Cape Coral, FL., Daughter inlaw Deborah Root, 5 grandchildren; Douglas Root, Shayne Root, Elizabeth Rood, Elianna Root, Annabella Root and 4 great grandchildren Brody Root, Leigh-anna Rood, Harper Rood and Peighton Rood.She was predeceased by her son David Lee Root, Sr in 2018, and by her 2 grandchildren; David Lee Root Jr. and Dustin Root.
