Roxbury Township, Mr. Clinton Headley Drymon, Esq, 71, died on March 27, 2014, peacefully at home after an extended illness. He was a champion wrestler at Dover High School and was a graduate of West Virginia University where he received a scholarship for wrestling. He received his Masters Degree from Farleigh Dickenson University and his Law Degree from Seton Hall University. His career started out as a Revenue Officer for the IRS. He then had his practice in Dover for over 30 years. He was a member of the Acacia Lodge F & A M Masonic Lodge in Dover, and attended the Ledgewood Baptist Church. He loved poetry and could recite scores of poems from memory, and read extensively to his three daughters. He had an avid interest in his family history and wrote the genealogy of the Headley family. He also loved to barbeque and make Saturday morning breakfast. He inspired many people to set and achieve their goals including coaching his daughters to achieve national ranking in cross country running. His favorite family vacation was visiting Ocean Grove at the Jersey shore. He loved food and enjoyed critiquing his wife’s cooking. He also had a dry sense of humor and liked to catch people off guard.
He is survived by his wife Franciska (nee Ropic) Drymon, 3 daughters; Zillah Salmon, Heather Cimino, and Sarah Drymon, brother David Drymon, sister’s; Mary DeRose and Clarissa Shipowick, aunt’s; Rosalie Andrews and Marion Murphy, and Uncle Vincent Murphy.
Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 10 am at the Funeral Home with the interment to follow at the Milton Cemetery.
