Roxbury Township, Mr. Chester L Scudder, Jr, 60, died on August 18, 2016 at his home in Succasunna. He was born in Ledgewood and lived in Roxbury Township all of his life. He was a Postal Carrier in Ledgewood and Succasunna for many years. He was a graduate of Roxbury High School, a historian of American Indians, played the banjo, and loved animals.

He is survived by his wife Anita B Vescio of 11 years, son Brian Lee Scudder of Mine Hill, and daughter Kathryn Vescio of MA.
