Roxbury Township, Mrs. Betty A Brown, 92, died on August 26, 2015 at the Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover. She was born in Dover and was a lifelong resident of Succasunna. She was a 1941 graduate of Roxbury High School and later was the Board of Education Secretary for 25 years. She was also a member of the Ever – Young Senior Citizens Club in Roxbury Township.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul L Brown in 1988 and by her daughter Carol A Morris in 1998. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen B Hoffman of Chester Township, 3 grandchildren; Kristina Yamin of NYC, Brian Hoffman of Long Valley, and Kristin Hoffman of Flanders, and by her great granddaughter Kyra Hoffman of Long Valley.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna 973-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Saturday from 10 – 11 am.  A graveside prayer will then follow at the Succasunna Methodist Cemetery.
