Bernard Clark

Mr. Bernard Clark, 83, passed away at home, Mt Arlington, NJ, surrounded by his family on February 4, 2023. He was born in Manhattan, NY and lived in The Bronx, NY before moving to Mt. Arlington NJ on Oct. 1966. He served in the U S Air Force from 1957 – 1963. He then worked for New York Bell Telephone Company as a splicer and lineman then transferred to NJ Bell , retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of; the Telephone Pioneers of America, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus being a member for over 50 years, active at American Legion, of Wharton, served on the Mt Arlington Rescue Squad, plus enthusiastically involved in Project Children for over 30 years.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Barbara A (May) Clark of 60 years, and 6 children: Ellen Clark and Regina Ter Linden of Mt. Arlington, Brian Wm (and Valerie) Clark of Hopatcong, Barbara T Clark of Mt. Arlington, Kevin J (and Pamela) Clark of Hopatcong, and Brendan A (and Astrid) Clark of Mine Hill. He leaves 12 grandchildren: Michael, & Andrew Pavel, Zachary & Travis Hopkins, Douglas , Kyle, & Dustin Clark, Caitlin Clark, Meghan & Alison Clark, Rebekah & Priscilla Ramnarine, 8 great grandchildren: Waylon, Axel, Mazie, Deacon Pavel, Trinity Hopkins, Evangeline & Dorian Pavel, and Caleb Clark and sisters: Mary Nowlen and Bernadette Cavanaugh (6 Nieces & 2 Nephews).

Visitation will be at Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Thursday, February 9th, from 4 – 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday, 11 am at St. Mary’s R C Church, 371 S. Main Street, Wharton, NJ. The interment will follow at the North Jersey Veteran’s Cemetery in Lafayette, with Military Honors.
