Succasunna, NJ.  Mrs. Alice T Denninger, 91, died on January 6, 2023 at the Merry Heart Assisted Living Center in Succasunna. She was born and raised in Ridgewood, NY, and lived in Elmont, NY for most of her life before moving to New Jersey almost 6 years ago. Alice enjoyed a unique life-long career serving young and old as a Hospice Coordinator, Recreational Director, and Grievance Counselor.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles W. Denninger (of 65 years) in 2017 and her son Charles R. Denninger (and Frances) in 1999. She is survived by her 3 children; Richard J (and Deborah) Denninger of Denville, Catherine (and Kevin) Hughey of Wantagh, NY, and Theresa (and Joe, deceased) Mueller of Succasunna. She also leaves her 11 grandchildren; Charles, Kristin, Thomas, Richard, Keith, Steven, Lauren, Kevin, Daniel, Matthew, and Michelle, 17 great grandchildren, and expecting her 18th in the Spring, and brother Rev. John B Freund, C.M.

Friends may visit at the Davis & Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ, (973)-584-7264 (davishepplewhitefh.com) on Monday, January 9^th,  from 4:30 – 8 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, 10 am, at St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna, followed by the interment at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY at 1pm.
